There are just one too many J-Drama adaptations of popular mangas these days. Some are awesome (and addictive) such as Nodame Cantabile and some just didn’t make the grade such as Absolute Boyfriend (according to some reviews that I have read). Otomen seems okay and now we have Sahara Mizu’s My Girl, a tale of a man who had just found out that his girlfriend who was older than him by four years has passed away leaving a daughter said to be his.
First and foremost, I’m a fan of Sahara Mizu and as on how well would this fare, it remains to be seen, at least until the final episode is aired.
